Lost and Found

Lost items are delivered to Tahko’s lost and found office.

Getting to Pehku On Foot

Pehku is accessible on foot, especially during snow-free seasons via hiking trails.

We recommend the Huutavanholma route, which ascends through the Huutavanholma protected forest area. This trail includes a scenic lookout offering some of Tahko’s most beautiful views, passes by the new upper station of the zipline, and ends near Pehku at Tahko’s observation tower. On a clear day, the observation tower provides views extending tens of kilometers in every direction.

After visiting Pehku, you can conveniently descend via the ridge area steps to the Tahkolahden shore. This route is approximately 4,6 km.

By Bicycle

Pehku is accessible by mountain bike via forest trails, offering cyclists the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Tahkovuori en route.

By Car

Please note that dinner guests arriving by private car must make a reservation in advance. The Riihi parking area is reserved for customers using Pehku’s restaurant services. Skiers’ parking spaces are located at the base of Tahkovuori.

Drive from Tahko center back towards Nilsiä until you reach a T-junction (Tahko signs).
Turn right towards Varpaisjärvi.
Drive 2,8 km on Varpaisjärventie.
Turn right onto Pehkuntie; there are advertisement signs at the intersection.
Drive 4,5 km on Pehkuntie, following the signs until you reach the Riihi parking area.

The driving route from Tahko center to Pehku is approximately 13 kilometers.

By Party Bus

Pehku’s party bus operates during the winter season according to the After Ski schedule.

DEBARTURE: Piazza – Pehku’s parking area at 13.00 -13.30
RETURN: Pehku’s parking area – Karhu Pub at 16.45-17.10

The bus fare is 8€ per direction (cash only, payable on the bus). We reserve the right to cancel transportation due to weather conditions.
